The award ceremony for Berger Award for Students of Faculty of Fine Art, University of Dhaka took place at the Charukola Auditorium on November 21, followed by the inauguration of two art exhibitions featuring participants of the Berger Young Painters’ Art Competition (BYPAC) and the awardees from FFA.
In this program, Berger awarded scholarships to students who achieved academic excellence. The top student from each of the eight departments of Charukola, DU, received this prestigious accolade. The “Student of the Year” awardee was chosen by a distinguished jury panel based on his outstanding artistic talent along with academic distinction.
The ceremony was graced by esteemed dignitaries, including Professor Nisar Hossain, the Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts, our Managing Director Rupali Chowdhury, COO Md. Mohsin Habib Chowdhury, CMO Tanzeen Ferdous Alam, and CBO A K M Sadeque Nawaj. Members of the faculty, current students of FFA DU, and the parents of the awarded students also attended the program, contributing to its success.
After the event ceremony, Berger Paints Bangladesh inaugurated two art exhibitions: one featuring the top 45 artworks of this year’s 28th Berger Young Painters’ Art Competition (BYPAC), and the other featuring artworks and crafts of the awarded students of Charukola.
